Near the center of the map in blue, you will find Nepal nestled between China and India. It is a landlocked country with a population of 28,563,377. (July 2009 est.)
"Nepal is among the poorest and least developed countries in the world with almost one-third of its population living below the poverty line. Agriculture is the mainstay of the economy." (CIA World Factbook)
